Oklahoma on it’s way to marriage equality?

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) announces a historic ruling on marriage equality for Oklahoma.

Yesterday a federal judge ruled that Oklahoma’s ban on marriage equality is unconstitutional. The state is expected to appeal the ruling to a higher court but this is another push forward for marriage equality.

HRC states,

This latest case is a clear sign we’re moving toward a more just and equal America. An America where a couple’s geography doesn’t determine their rights – or their value as a citizen in the eyes of the law.

Three Cheers for That Sentiment, HRC!

All citizens should be treated equally. Until then, we push on.
