OutJustice Sundays: Meet & Greet

Isn’t it time you got better acquainted with the fun peeps behind OutJustice?

OutJustice is a safe space and we welcome you!

"We weren't really expecting to get our photograph taken."

“We weren’t really expecting to get our photograph taken.”

This Sunday is OutJustice’s next Meet & Greet.

This weekly event is a time for our supporters and any inquisitive-types to get to know our core team while we … maybe work and … maybe just socialize (it depends on the attendees!).

Sometimes the OutJustice Meet & Greet includes a visiting speaker or special training. Other times we might be focused on a brainstorm or strategy session. All times we are dedicated to having fun and exchanging ideas in a safe space where all are welcome. This week we will continue with strategy for the year.

To find out about any particular week’s happenings, contact us.

Newcomers are welcome, as are questions about OutJustice’s programs & services. As we get to know you we hope you will enjoy the company of like-minded, social justice advocates.  Developed as a fun social gathering to meet one another, the OutJustice Meet & Greet helps build mutual support and trust.

Think of it as a Fun Social Gathering to meet our team and to let US meet YOU – the organization’s backbone  → OutJustice’s Supporters!

Core staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have. And there’s no pressure.

Just come and hang out.

What: OutJustice Meet & Greet
When: Sundays, 7:00pm – 9:30pm
Where: Usually OutJustice’s Headquarters; but, please note that RSVPs are necessary and the events are not always at the Headquarters.

We don’t always meet at the office space and for security reasons we require the RSVP system – sometimes we meet in private homes or businesses around the city for a change of pace. Contact us to RSVP by emailing info@OutJustice.org or filling out our Contact Form.

The Chicago-Northwest office serves as OutJustice’s national headquarters. These events are never at our N. Broadway St. address in Chicago. The headquarter office spaces are near N. Western Ave. and W. Belmont Ave. (exact addresses provided to attendees each week).

A general logistics FYI when coming to the Chicago-Northwest offices:

  • Cyclists: We have secured space to lock your wheels on premises.
  • Public Transit Riders: We’re only a few blocks from the following CTA bus routes: #49 Western, #52 Kedzie/California, #76 Diversey, #77 Belmont Off of the CTA Blue Line train: Logan Square or Belmont stops with short rides on the #76 Diversey or #77 Belmont bus will get you within blocks of the office.
  • Automobiles: We are blocks from the 90/94 Diversey St. exit (headed NW away from downtown Chicago) and the 90/94 California St. exit (headed SE toward downtown Chicago). Street parking is easy, except on heavy snow days when parking in Chicago is always difficult.

If you are interested in attending, please let us know at info@OutJustice.org or use our Contact Us form.

In the body of your email/message please include:

  1. Attendee Name(s),
  2. Phone number(s), and
  3. How you (each) learned about OutJustice.

Note Again: This office location is not publicly posted. Due to the nature of the work we conduct once we receive your RSVP an OutJustice representative will contact you with the exact address and any additional logistics you might need. If you have any questions, please contact us at 312.650.9210.
